He promptly contacted CatRescue 901 in Terrey Hills. The cat led the rescuers to her three kittens. She was thin and had done her best to care for her creatures.
The cats needed care and were clearly starving when they arrived at the shelter. After assessing the kittens, the vets discovered they had eyelid agenesis, a congenital condition that would cause blindness without treatment.
They were fed, bathed, and rested on comfy beds. Medication was given and Elodie, the feline mom, improved after being spayed.
