A video of an adorable dog rescued from the street smiling and wagging its tail has gone viral on the internet. The dog’s name is Layla, and she was rescued by Beaumont Animal Rescue after wandering around town alone for several days. Animal rescuer Rachel Barron visited the dog in its kennel and began talking to it.
When she spoke in a baby-like voice, the dog was so amused that it smiled. This was probably the first time this little dog received attention and care from a human. Layla smiled and wagged her cute little tail to show Rachel her appreciation for her kind attitude. Luckily, she was able to capture her heartwarming moment on video camera, and it quickly went viral.
Needless to say, after the video was released, many applications were received to adopt Layla and a local couple was chosen to be Layla’s new family.

Many people called and asked if they could adopt Layla. A local couple was chosen to be Layla’s new parents, and Layla immediately felt at home with them and the other dogs.
