Who doesn’t love a passionate and steamy kiss scene topped with a lot of chemistry? Sometimes these kiss scenes happen later on in the series after the anticipation rises, so they’re that much more satisfying when they happen. A kiss scene is part of the K-drama equation, but there are those kiss scenes that are so hot and heavy that you replay them over and over and over again.
1. “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim”
Park Seo Joon plays Lee Young Joon, a boss whose secretary, Kim Mi So (Park Min Young), is ready to quit working for him. Devastated and lost, he tries to win her back, and in the process, ends up falling in love with her.
When you think of hot and heavy K-drama kiss scenes, you can’t leave out Park Seo Joon and Park Min Young in “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim.” It’s one of the most watched K-drama kiss scenes online, and it only continues to maintain its title as being “hot and heavy.” It’s no surprise really – when you get two of the most hottest K-drama stars in a kiss scene, you can only expect a masterpiece of a kiss.
2. “Her Private Life”
“Her Private Life” is the hit K-drama rom-com starring Park Min Young and Kim Jae Wook. The series involves an artist by the name of Ryan Gold, who falls in love with an art curator named Sung Duk Mi (Park Min Young).
Another one of Park Min Young’s epic kiss scenes, and one that can not be overlooked. It was often joked between Park Min Young and Kim Jae Wook that they would “kill” the kiss scene and make it the best ever. In various interviews and behind-the-scenes footage, you can see the passion in which the two actors were determined to make sure their chemistry was top-notch and memorable for fans. And can we say, they absolutely delivered!
3. “Oh My Venus”
So Ji Sub stars in “Oh My Venus” as a hotshot trainer named Kim Young Ho while Shin Min Ah plays an overweight lawyer named Kang Joo Eun. Young Ho ends up falling in love with Joo Eun, and the two engage in a passionate romance.
So Ji Sub can be considered to be the master of kiss scenes. He is known to have chemistry with all of his co-stars, so when he was paired with Shin Min Ah, it’s no wonder the world was excited. The kiss scenes were very much worth the wait, and to say they were sizzling is an understatement!
4. “Suspicious Partner”
When you get Ji Chang Wook in a kiss scene, you can always anticipate a kiss scene that will give you butterflies in your stomach. In “Suspicious Partner,” Ji Chang Wook plays a successful lawyer named No Ji Wook who is helping a helpless woman named Eun Bong Hee (Nam Ji Hyun). Bong Hee is trying to get off a case that she was wrongfully accused of. Despite their completely opposite personalities and Ji Wook being a bit repulsed by her at the beginning, the two end up falling in love and engaging in some very fervent kisses. Is it getting hot in here?
5. “I Am Not A Robot”
Yoo Seung Ho as Kim Min Kyu and Chae Soo Bin as Jo Ji Ah are two main leads we would love to see again on the small screen. When Min Kyu gets himself a robot, he finds himself getting attracted to this robot. It is later revealed to him that Ji Ah is in fact, a human. The two engage in a heartbreaking trial of broken trust and longing to be with each other. And with this comes an uplifting and enticing make-up kiss. Remember that kitchen counter?
6. “It’s Okay That’s Love”
In “It’s Okay That’s Love,” Jo In Sung stars as the megastar writer Jang Jae Yeol who meets Ji Hae Soo, played by Gong Hyo Jin. They develop a strong distaste for each other, but despite their hate for each other, the two discover that they’re a lot alike, and this becomes a turning point in their relationship. From there stems a beautiful romantic relationship and an intense one. Their relationship is filled with so much hope, angst, despair, and comfort all at the same time, which is probably why their kiss scenes were so memorable.
7. “Because This Is My First Life”
In “Because This Is My First Life,” Lee Min Ki stars as Nam Sae Hee, an awkward computer designer who is house poor, while Jung So Min stars as Yoon Ji Ho, an aspiring drama writer who is on the brink of giving up on her dreams because she can’t afford to live in the city. The two meet and decide to have a contract marriage so that Sae Hee’s parents will stop setting him up on blind dates and so that Ji Ho can look for a job.
The “I’ll show you how to kiss” line really never gets old. After Ji Ho gives Sae Hee a peck on the lips, Se Hee takes it upon himself to put some emotion into a deeper and more loving kiss. You can see that it knocks her off her feet and that she falls completely in love. She doesn’t even realize that her phone is vibrating in her pocket, she’s just so entranced by the kiss. The backdrop of the sunset also adds so many emotions to this moment!
8. “Introverted Boss”
Yeon Woo Jin plays a very introverted and shy CEO named Eun Hwan Ki. He tries to avoid people at all costs until he meets Chae Ro Woon (Park Hye Soo) who starts to work at his company. She is the complete opposite of Hwan Ki and does not seem to leave him alone. When they say opposites attract, this particular series embodies that saying. Seeing these two come together and eventually fall in love is the perfect story. Not to mention that epic shower kiss scene. You might have seen it circulating online because it was literally steamy as it took place in a shower tub. You could feel the heat from where you are.
9. “1% Of Something”
Although underrated, “1% Of Something” has quickly become a must-watch K-drama for many, and a big reason is that post-shower kiss between Ha Seok Jin and Jun So Min. Although the story is pretty conventional in that it involves a contract relationship between a chaebol and elementary school teacher, the chemistry between the two stars is what really makes the series entertaining and unforgettable. You really just need to watch it to believe it.
10. “Dr. Romantic”
Yoo Yeon Seok is known to be one of the best K-drama kissers in the industry. When he has a kiss scene in a series, you can almost guarantee hot and heavy. The one in particular that fans couldn’t get over happened in episode 1, no less, of “Dr. Romantic.” His counterpart was his sunbae and fellow doctor Yoon Seo Jung, played by Seo Hyun Jin. The two engage in a steamy kiss scene in the change room, and none of us were ever the same again – did I mention that this happens in the first episode? Prepare your hearts.

Pyo Na Ri (Gong Hyo Jin) was in love with Lee Hwa Shin (Jo Jung Suk) for several years, but after getting rejected by him, she gets over him and ends up dating his best friend. While she’s dating his best friend, Hwa Shin starts to develop strong feelings for Na Ri. The emotionally charged build-up of the relationship between these two is of epic proportions. The tension, misunderstandings, and jealousy that is in the storyline all lead up to this fervent kiss.
12. “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon”
This adorable duo captivated viewers with their ability to appear totally in love with each other in the series “Strong Woman Do Bong Soon.” Park Hyung Sik plays the CEO of a gaming company named Ahn Min Hyuk and Park Bo Young plays a girl with super strength named Do Bong Soon.
The best part about this adorable duo was the way in which their chemistry amplified their kiss scenes. Remember that kiss scene on the piano? The sultriness of it is what legendary kiss scenes are made of.
